Hi, I'm evaluating Drupal 5
Hi,
I'm evaluating Drupal 5 and this is my first time I use a CMS. I think that your module is great and that it makes Drupal perfect for my needs! I didn't install it yet (I have to understand yet how to install a new module...) so I base my impressions on your demo site only.
I am wondering if it's possible to limit the maximum number of images that a user could upload (for example max 5 images) and if it's possible to delete an image on the server when it's not nedeed anymore (I uploaded LogoDO.gif but I was unable to delete it after my tests).
Thanks for your great work!!!

IMCE does not limit the number of images per user.
Deleting files requires permission that can be set in admin pages.
thanks for the comment.

Gallery Reccomendation
We are setting up a test server with Drupal 5 to replace our current site. We really like the IMCE module and think it offers the best image upload/management solution, however we also are interested in galleries.
There are so many different gallery modules, and some seem quite esoteric to set up. Are there any particular galleriy modules that work best with IMCE or that you would reccommend.
Thanks,

I've been testing IMCE and am very pleased with the performance and the UI dealing with image files. And I've changed file types to permit IMCE to upload other files. However, I would like to use IMCE in place of the upload module and the image module's upload facility. Versions being used are Drupal 6.2, IMCE 6.x.1.tar file. Are there settings in Drupal that can make IMCE by file browser/manager/uploader of choice? Then I have one central place to control quotas for all files.
Oh, I'm very new to Drupal so this is probably an obvious one but I looked all over the web sites. And I do have FCD installed and working AOK with IMCE.
Thanks,

Is there somewhere I can change the file space setting - it seems very low at 5mb total.
